This question has come to my mind a lot, and I've been wondering...

Will the Gold Flower from New Super Mario Bros 2 ever be on another game? The reason I feel as if it won't is because of the fact that NSMB2 was based on getting a lot of coins, which the Gold Flower helped to do.

With that being said, I just don't know if it would fit or not since the players aren't collecting as many coins as in the last adventure, but I suppose it could be something like the P switch in Super Mario World which turned all of the blocks into coins or whatever. But, that's my opinion. What do you guys think?

    Moved to the Mario sub-board.

I really liked the Gold Flower, turning things into gold or coins was nice to be able to do. However, I don't think the coin concept of NSMB2 should return again, so that this series can be kept fresh. (NSMB2 was the only game in the NSMB series to actually feel different from the others due to the coins, but it wouldn't be like that if it were used again)

I think they should keep the mega fireballs but, get rid of the coins that came out of the blocks.
If we ever see it again the next game it might be in is New Super Mario Bros 3.
