SwapNote Shut Down

Surely you've heard already.

It was fun during the little time I used it(back in 2011).

I believe it was a good call from Nintendo considering the reason...

I thought it was a terrible decision until they finally gave reasoning towards it today. I'm surprised they didn't remove Miiverse messaging as well, especially considering Miiverse will be cominf to the 3DS soon too.

You know it's sad when the world has gotten to this point to where a child friendly company has to step in where the authorities can't.. More so seeing how the 'authorities' are getting less & less funding in order for them to be able to run properly & catch these type of child predators red handed. -_- *sigh* I'm just glad that the men accused are going to be answering for their actions at the very least. 

It still doesn't bring back swapnote to the rest of us law abiding citizens though... -_-

I think it makes more sense if pedophiles use swapnote because it costs them no money in order to use it.. That and swapnote couldn't be tracked as online message boards can be. So of course swapnote was going to be used; at least until some one found out about it being used that way & Nintendo shut the service down because of two bad eggs.
