Games I'm playing atmo

Mom likes to play matchmaker, it's looks more like Brook's grandpa and it's kind of funny how you get a female the one time you want a male.

Since the last time I updated this post, I've beaten the first Island & got it's badge. Er, whatever. I'm now at the second island searching for to find the other two captain's I need to defeat in order to take on the Isle leader & then move on to Isle #3. So far I don't like that I can't use my Pokemon bank with either Sun or Moon until January of NEXT year. BUT, there is an evil way around that; I can just trade myself Pokemon from Pokemon X/Y to the newer games. So I was thinking about doing that so I can at least have my Pichu I wanted to raise in game already. Yea, I know i should catch a Loli Region one, but super fluffy surfer Raichu just creeps me out. o-o xp

Oh yea, something that also kind of creeps me out.. Is that Hau reminds me of ASH. Wtf is up with that? I don't even. I also don't like the Rotom Dex at all & think it's VERY annoying.

I kind of like how the bank can't be used since, a good number of players would just use there boosted EXP Pokemon and then complain about how easy the game is. As for the Rotom pokedex the issue is that you have no control to turn it on or off.

Atmo I'm on my third trial on the second island. I had to save & quit before taking on the third & last totem due to my helping out my mom today. She needed help wrapping gifts & putting up her Christmas decorations. It's all done now but I found that I need to have my team at a higher lvl then 24 to get past the totem, so I have to lvl grind to get up my party a bit more. xp I had to take a charger break so hopefully by tomorrow I'll be able to get past the totem & be able to move onto the kahuna.

The first time I challenged the totem Pokemon I blacked out since, it called in a Pokemon that destroyed my team and the totem Pokemon has a really deadly moveset if you did not use the EXP share.

I've since gone back to the first Island using the Charazard caller & have been leveling up on the first island where I can. I'll have to go back to the second island to get up more lvls though. The only issues I have with the Pokemon caller feature is when you come across area's you know you could smash through while on water & can't. It's so frustrating. <.<;

I'm on the 3rd island and I still can't smash those rocks. I'm guessing the Sharpedo shown in the trailers can be used to smash the rocks though.

I haven't gotten to the 3rd island yet but I was able to defeat the totem & kicked it's 4$$! *dances* I'm now heading off to take on the next kahuna. I moved Greninja over to my Sun file, but can I go ahead & use him since I have my first Alola area badge, or do I have to wait until I defeat the second gym leader Kahuna to be able to get him to listen to me?

Greninja will listen to you after you clear Lana's trial and I guess it's kind of cool how they set it up to happen after the water themed trial.

Ah, I see. Thanks very much for clearing that up for me. I had an interesting chat with Lilly before I saved & quit. The whole scene she had with the Cosmos pokemon was interesting, where she's pretending to be your character & then asks how you feel when battling. Personally I'm always confident when battling in game so it's how I answered. xp

I'm now on the third Island & finished taking my first trail. It was fairly simple to get through seeing as I had a mudbray I'd been training leading up to the battle anyway. By the time I got to the trial it had evoed into a Mudsdale & I was able to take out all three Pokemon bug/electric types using it's attacks. I used it, my Talonflame, & Snorlax to take out the totem Pokemon fairly quickly. I had to make my way back to the prof who made me battle against Team Skull's leader. Thanks a lot prof. Ya, looser. I got as far as making it to the Pokemon Center to heal up my party before I saved & quit for a while.

-A bit of a personal update-
I'm under the weather atmo. I have a sore throat, am coughing a bit & seem to have a slight fever. I'm resting where I can & drinking a lot fluids. I'm hoping I'll be better before I go on vacation with Jing & my folks next week so I'm going to be staying down as much as possible until I'm 100% better.

I wanted to make a separate post about Animal Crossing: New Leaf since I have a game play incident to tell. XD

AC:NL:
Today while playing AC:NL I headed off to the Island after I scoured my town for fossils & found a few gyriods. I was asked by one of my folk; Dizzy (elephant) to give him something to place on his table. I had an extra 3DS XL, since earlier I had bought one from Isabelle's camper when I scanned her in. The other one I had I won when I purchased the fortune cookies inside my store run by the Nookling's. Since I didn't need the extra one I gave it to him. I guess I should have thought it through more & given it to a member here who's a friend on my list. But what's done is done I suppose. XD I'm sure to get another one since I tend to buy the cookies since the update anymore anyway.

Anyway, once I made the mayoral rounds I hopped on board Captain's boat & headed to the Wifi Public Isle as I call it. Once there I meet a kid who called himself Rover. Not long after two love birds Lexie & some other kid I can't half remember the name of joined up. They just stood there bff chatting while I was trying to get my 20 bug count in for the 'cat scan program of the day' & all Rover did was complain about it. I was like, 'Maybeh they want to go & make out some where? /jk' which made him laugh. Come to find out that Rover was in the hospital since he & his parents were in a car accident. His parents came out ok, but he was bed ridden in the hospital for 4 days since & his dog had a broken leg. He was telling me that he couldn't walk & when ever he tried to sit up the nurse had to help him. I told him that I hoped he'd get better soon as did the girl Lexie. Eventually I got sick of the girl & boy talking & exchanging NNID names to 'add each other' for Splatoon & that to ask Rover if he wanted to go bug hunting with me. He did & we left the isle together to do a random bug hunt. The next isle over, we ran into two more people & he started telling his story all over again to these new people & well by this time I'd heard it (read it) all already so I bailed & headed home. I honestly just went out to the public isle to get my 20 bug quota. Once back in my home town of Bacon I was never so glad to see Nan (goat) in all of my life, so I ran up & gave her a talking to. If I could give the folk hugs in game: I would have given her one. But still, once I was finished talking with Nan I ran over & fetched my CAT coupons once I finished speaking with Nan & saved & quit right after wards.

Tbh I don't know if what that kid was telling me was the truth or not but something deep down was telling me that he just wanted attention so I kind of wonder if he was going around telling 'this story' just so he'd get it. If it's true then it's fine I guess; but I just didn't want to be subjected to hearing it all over again I guess. *shrugs*
