^ Lubba never became popular, Rosalina almost immediately did upon release of Super Mario Galaxy, plus she was a more major character than Lubba. (Galaxy 2 has no real story, the original does, and Rosalina is a big part of it)

He's in the backround of the Mario Galaxy stage in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and he also made a cameo in Mario Golf World Tour.

I'm not exactly too fond of Rosalina's treatment in the last few years either..

She seems to have gotten shoehorned into many recent Mario titles, but Smash Bros? I felt that was going too far really. Especially over Toad... I mean, he was one of the default playable characters in SM3DW and he was a highly requested character for Smash since the Melee days. Sure hope Captain Toad gets in at least as DLC or by SSB5. Tbh, I wouldn't have minded Rosalina in Smash, but over Toad as a playable character? That's just not right at all...

Her recent portrayals outside of Smash also don't do much of a favour to her original character portrayal in my opinion. Rosalina was originally presented as a mysterious being in SMG; however, recent spin-offs seem to have made her rather bubbly and even become just a "princess" much like Peach and Daisy.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the Rosalina character. However, pushing her in so many games (especially Smash Bros.) all of a sudden doesn't seem right and doesn't do justice for her character either.
