Super Mario Maker

A Babymetal costume is coming to the game later today.

So it seems like there a metal idol band that is pretty big. I'm sure we will see many more strange costumes now that Nintendo does not have a big holiday Wii U game.

Intriguing. I didn't expect something like Babymetal to be the next Mystery Mushroom Costume. All these costumes are pretty cool. It's like anything goes for these choices. Too bad these are only the Super Mario Bros theme, that's my least favorite theme to use. I enjoy Super Mario Bros 3 the most of the 4.

The Ice Climbers are the next costume and the event course will be release on May 13th.



This is a much better costume then Popo alone and at least this duo still gets something after not making the cut for Smash 4.

When the Ice Climbers aren't in Smash but are in Super Mario Maker you know something's wrong. :p That's a nice looking updated pixel art though, pretty cool.

Looks pretty cool, to be honest, i like this costume, i played Ice Climber before, i can't wait to try this event course some time.

It looks like the latest update has added the Squid Sisters costumes into the game's data. There also seems to be 46 more placeholder slots for costumes.



At least we finally get to see there Squid formes and I think it will be just like the Wolf Link costume where the event course releases a week after the amiibo come out.

I wouldn't be surprised if they added in the Inkling Amiibo color swaps as well, especially if they have 46 more open slots. Those look really cool though, I'm excited to use them!

Glad to finally see what the Squid Sisters will look like in Super Mario Maker! So Callie has a higher pitched voice than Marie? I never really noticed before unless they made Marie's voice lower pitched for this game to give them a difference. Nice sound effects for them and all. I always wanted to see their squid forms, I imagine they'd be more fancier in design than the typical Inkling. They seem to have regular forms here but that's fine.

Hello Kitty and My Melody are the next costumes.

OMG, just knowing that there's a Hello Kitty costume is in this game is just plain hilarious impo. XD

We finally got are first western costume He's everyone's favorite DreamWorks character Sh.



That's right Shaun the Sheep is the next crossover costume. I'm fine with this one since I found the cartoon to be pretty good and Nintendo sure does need every bit of cash right.

Shawn the Sheep is not every one's favorite; well he's not my favorite. My favorite "American" icon would be Bugs Bunny but I doubt there's going to be a costume for him (or Daffy).

^ YES, I would love a Bugs Bunny costume and much prefer it to this one, I don't even know who Shaun the Sheep is so I clearly don't care much about the costume. Although I do have to say this game just keeps getting crazier and crazier with the new costumes and it's getting hard to be surprised with the weird ones they've included at this point.

Super Mario Maker will be coming to the 3DS on December 2nd.



It's hard to believe they got it to work on the 3DS and it will likely be watered down a bit sadly.
