Re: Star Fox Zero
^ Now I haven't watched it yet and do tend to like Jim's content regardless of whether I agree, if that's anything about the easier modes lessening the game's quality, I honestly think it's BS. It's an optional mode to make it easier for new players to go into the game and be eased into it rather than be too frustrated to play more than just a little bit because they are having difficulties. I feel like having it as an option is great for those players. Obviously experienced players aren't going to use it and I most certainly wouldn't even consider it, but I just don't really get the complaints of its inclusion.

No, it's about how he likes the idea of adding an easy mode for Star Fox (& other games) who aren't into the series. If anything he's for easy mode for most all games if only to get more fans made for the series.

^ Oh okay, well then, guess I went on that rant for no reason. XD I do think it's a great addition for those players.

Re: Star Fox Zero
Could there only be 11 stages in Star Fox Zero?
Planet Corneria
Meteo α
Area 3
Planet Zoness
Sector β
Titania
Sector γ
Planet Fichina
Planet Fortuna
Sector Ω
Venom
Source
It kind of sucks if this is true since you could likely beat the game in about 2 hours or so. Hopefully the the split path feels like a new level so that there could be 22 levels in a way.

Re: Star Fox Zero
The split paths could possibly be like Venom 1 and Venom 2 in Star Fox 64, where the mission is very different depending on what path you take to the planet. Hopefully they do something like that to make the game longer or they're hiding somethings which isn't very likely unfortunately.

Re: Star Fox Zero
Here's the disc art for both Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard:
I think both look really cool. They're essentially just the boxarts placed on the disc but the artwork is really nice anyway.

Here is what the Falco amiibo unlocks. You can also find play videos of the game on YouTube now.

- I really like the looks of the Black Arwing. Red and black go great together, it resembles a Wolfen. Too bad I don't have a Falco amiibo. I would actually consider buying a Falco amiibo for that Arwing recolor.

It looks like there's an Iwata tribute.

Re: Star Fox Zero
So Star Fox Zero is currently the #1 best seller in games this week on Amazon!
Nintendo seems to be doing a LOT of heavy advertising for the game despite it being the last big game on Wii U, so it makes sense to be doing well. It also just looks fantastic. I'm definitely planning to buy soon after launch.

Re: Star Fox Zero
The official Sonic the Hedgehog twitter account posted this picture, I thought I'd share because I think it's funny:
The Sonic twitter account is honestly pretty great, they make some really good tweets. This just makes me appreciate it even more.

Re: Star Fox Zero
Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard are available now! Did anyone pick it up?
Personally I haven't, but I plan to soon. I don't really have the money now but I'd like to buy it sometime in May after my show is over.

Re: Star Fox Zero
Kotaku's review for Star Fox Zero doesn't sound very promising. I have no interest in the game, but to read that the controls are terrible I'm out before I even began to get interested. kotaku's review
Where as Star Fox Guard seems to do better in kotaku's reviews, saying that it's 'A good surveillance-based twist on protecting a base.' It also 'Doubles as a surprisingly good crowd co-op game.' kotaku review
What I find funny is how the tower/defense game seems to rank higher then Fox Zero does, at least according to the reviews by Kotaku. :p
