    Kotaku has never been that good of a site for reviews.

    As for myself I plan on getting the bundle with Guard in a few weeks since I should be getting a gift card in soon.

    @Queen Glitter Fairy
    If the controls are anything like Splatoon's, which they appear to be, then they should work well. I feel like a lot of the complaints about the controls are based on the fact that motion controls are required more than the controls themselves actually being bad, and really it's ridiculous to complain about something like that. However I will say I'm also more interested in Star Fox Guard than I am Zero. XD

    I agree @Zero Revolution, motion controls shouldn't be dismissed after even a mention of them. While I don't care for motion controls myself, they can be done well. Splatoon is an example, the gyro sensor allows for perfect accuracy. I think Mario and Luigi Dream Team did them pretty good as well (Aside from that horrible glitch against two Giant Bosses, but I never experienced it myself). I don't know how well Star Fox Zero has done them, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was criticized for just having motion controls. Is it wrong to try to utilize the Wii U Gamepad to it's fullest potential? I'm okay with motion controls being the only option as long as they work, even if I'd rather have the traditional controls.

    If the motion controls were very unresponsive and wonky, then that would be a problem. I read they just take time getting used to. I'm giving the controls a chance.

    I'm still getting this game, I love the Star Fox series (I played all but the SNES one) and I want to see how this game compares to the rest of the series. It also looks very enjoyable once you get the controls down.

    ^ 100% agreed.

    So for anyone who bought the game, what are your impressions so far?

    I preordered it and got it the day after launch day and I already almost finished it. It is really similar to StarFox 64 but stuff like the walker and gyrowing really set it apart and I fell in love with it. The controls are weird at first but you get used to them and they work even if so many people are saying they don't.

    Only for Europe as if right now. Now will release demos for both Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard.

    I hope this drives up sales a bit and I never that those 2 would ever get demos.

    That should generate some more sales. It seems like a good game to have a demo for since people seem to be hating on it for no real reason. I hope it releases worldwide too.

    Too bad the demo is only available in Europe for now. I'd totally download it off the Nintendo eshop if it was available here. Good for Europe, it could sell the game a little bit more there. Hopefully it's available worldwide so anyone everywhere else can give Star Fox a whirl if they're interested. Europe was a good place to have it.

    The Zero demo includes that lovely short so that's a plus.
