    Another Nintendo 3DS system update is now available, this one simply improves system stability.

    I wonder why Nintendo keeps giving us these pointless updates...the 3DS never crashes or anything for me, and I don't know of anyone else also having this issue.

    Well; my 3DS kind of hangs on me. It takes a long time for the 3DS to come up when I start it. Sometimes all I get is a black screen.. It's kind of why I've been thinking about saving back to get myself a 3DS XL to upgrade to since mine has been slowly having these issues for some time now. It usually will load when I turn it off & then on again; but it's starting to worry me when it hangs for what seems like longer then a minute.. So yea. xp

    When do you think we'll see another price drop for this here system?

    I don't think anytime soon because of the huge cut it already received. Maybe in 2 more years at most.

    @Queen
    Really? Well if this update hasn't fixed that, it may be a problem with your 3DS...I've never had that happen in the 3 years I've owned my 3DS, not even once.

    @Unknown Entity
    I feel like the 2DS was already a price cut even if it is a completely different model from the 3DS. But maybe there will be a very minor cut (like US$15-20) at the end of 2014.

    The brand new Nintendo 3DS system update is available now. Although it does nothing but improve stability, according to Nintendo:

    Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

    Every time they do updates like this it makes me wonder why, I never have stability issues with my 3DS. I guess others must, or Nintendo is just fixing errors that only occur on very rare occasions.

    I still wish that the White 3DS was available outside of Japan, I would've gotten that one instead of the Black, which gets fingerprints way too easily. It's not that bothersome though, it's still great to play.

    I would have got the Flame Red 3DS if it was out at the time. I almost got the Cosmo Black one but, I want with the Aqua Blue since I wanted a different color for once.

    Also this may be on the box of the next 3DS game you buy.

    I love my 3DS, it's pretty awesome.

    The one thing I dislike about it is the D-Pad is a little stiff :/

    If someone is getting a 2DS I'd hope that they'd know that it's just another style of 3DS, though for those who don't give 'em what they need.

    @Heisenberg
    Yeah, it also feels sorta uncomfortable being at the very bottom corner of the 3DS. I usually just use the slide pad/circle pad for games myself, even the 2D ones because of that.

    @Cubone
    I wonder if Iwata is the one making all these console names confusing, more so with the Wii U, but I'd understand if somebody bought a 2DS and thought it was an entirely new console or something.

    I didn't know it was even possible for the 3DS to stay on for such a long time in sleep mode, mine was blinking red for nearly 2 hours before I was able to put it on a charger. Comparatively, it takes like 5 minutes when open.

    There's a new 3D World puzzle that you get through spot pass now.

    I guess now they're doing Wii U games too then. But there are already so many puzzles, they never give you enough time to complete them. I haven't even been doing the Puzzle Swap thing for awhile now, I used to often, but it's kind of a waste of time really.
