I don't think it's very likely as I believe they're going with popularity for the DLC characters. Young Link was the closest to unexpected (I'm not sure about Twili Midna but her Imp form is definitely popular, she's still Midna). The characters introduced in Legends, Tetra, King Daphnes, and Skull Kid are popular. Linkle was unexpected because she was a new character. There was a hint or two and the concept art but I still didn't see it coming.

After Marin's reveal, I believe they'll go with popular choices for the other three. I don't think more unexpected choices like Chancellor Cole or Oshus are impossible but I feel they'll choose the most popular charaters. It makes perfect sense considering it is paid DLC.

What Nintendo series do you think will be brought back into the spotlight next?

I think Kid Icarus will get some spotlight, I think it is possibly Sakurai's next project. If not that, then probably Metroid.

Do you think Link will have a guide like character in later areas for Breath of the Wild?

Yes, I think Link will have a character that will have the same role as characters like Midna, Fi, Tatl, and Navi had in previous games. I believe they will include a guide character because of how massive the world will be, despite the creators wanting to change a lot of things, I think that will remain. At the least I can see us getting someone like Kaepora Gaebora that could possibly be turned on and off.

If you could have an animal that you were able to be bred and have multiple of them with you, what animal would it be?

If I could have any animal? I'd say a fox because I love their appearance and their depictions in folklore.

Do you think a new 2D Zelda is coming out this year?

I don't think a new 2D Zelda is coming out this year. I think that they're putting most of their main Zelda resources in Breath of the Wild. I would like to see a new one soon though.

Now that BoTW is out, and ignoring whatever DLC plans it has, do you think there's a chance that a new 2D Zelda will come out this year (and would it stay on the 3DS)?

I think there's a chance now but I still don't think it's very likely. Yeah, I do think it would stay on the 3DS.

Not really a new feature but I'd like the bank from Majora's Mask to return but with some more additions. For some something actually new I'd like to see pottery making.
