Remodels

Do you ever purchase remodels for game consoles? And which is your favorite remodel? (it can just be a redesign or a full-on upgrade)

I occasionally buy remodels, usually only for Nintendo handhelds though. I'm absolutely love Nintendo handhelds, so I like to own them all. My favorite is definitely the Game Boy Advance SP, though. Finally, a backlit screen! Seriously, I don't really care about the actual redesign itself, it was just fantastic to have a backlit screen on the GBA. The New 3DS might be one of my favorites, it looks really cool.

I've had a couple of remodels. I have a Pikachu Nintendo 64 and a Zelda 3DS XL. I used to have a Nintendo DS Lite as well. I don't get remodels too often. I might end up getting a New 3DS eventually.

The 3DS XL is really the only one for me, just so I could have a bigger screen, but otherwise no, I mean I guess I may end up adding the New 3DS but if games are made solely for it then I feel it's really a different handheld.

While I didn't own it, the GameBoy Advance SP was an amazing model in comparison to the original GBA (Pocket). 

I do have a DSi and I certainly prefer it over the original DS lite. Those hinge cracks in the original were awful. x.x

i used to have the big PS2 but, my uncle traded it in for the slimmer mode years. I also had the PS3 that could also play the PS2 games but, it broke a few years and my dad got me the newer model that only plays PS2 games. I also might get the New Nintendo 3DS XL next year since my 3DS is slowly breaking down.

I bought a slim PS3 because my original PS3 which played PS1, PS2 & PS3 titles got a rlod; & I also bought a 3DS XL so that I could have a bigger screen since the original 3DS has a small screen. (Some times it depends on my personal needs for when I decide to get a console remodel or not. xp)
