Operation Faceplate NA

So there's this huge (and growing) movement to get Nintendo of America to bring the New Nintendo 3DS to North America, Operation Faceplate NA. Personally I'm a huge supporter because I'm not buying that XL when I know NoA can easily bring the standard sized model here. I really want a white New 3DS, with colored face buttons and faceplates. Not to mention better resolution and same battery life as the XL. I even went as far as to join Twitter (yeah, that's right) ONLY so that I could join in on the movement. I really want that New 3DS, Nintendo better give it to me.

I really hope NoA bring the regular new 3DS to America. It doesn't make sense to with-hold when Europe got it. If you ask me, there's more reason to but a regular new 3DS over a new 3DS XL

Wait...wait... They AREN'T bringing it over to NA?

I thought they were... I'm really behind on gaming news...

^ They are bringing only the New 3DS XL to NA, not the standard-sized model. So it's still coming in some form, but I really want that normal model... (and so do many others or this wouldn't exist!)

Good luck with that. Nintendo will only listen with your wallets & if you hold out on not buying the new 3DS XL is when the smaller new 3DS would probably release.

This is so true.

Well, considering Operation Rainfall and Operation Moonfall both worked in the end, why not this? I mean, the New 3DS already is coming to every other region, would it be that hard to release it here? I mean, at least have some kind of limited release if you don't think it'll sell well in NA...

Oh, it's not that I don't but think it won't sell; it's probably what Nintendo thinks by just releasing the New 3DS XL version. The only way to let Nintendo know that it isn't true is if every one gets together to send them an email with 20 bazillin signatures on it.

^ Which is why Operation Faceplate NA exists to begin with. So we can show Nintendo we DO want it, and that it WILL sell. The only reason regular 3DS sales weren't as high as XL was because the XL version of that does have more features and is overall better. But with the New 3DS it seems to be the complete opposite.

Nope. I will get a regular new 3DS someday...
