Well, I do have the game by now - and, unfortunately, I've already stopped playing partway through the first of the unlockable worlds. It definitely seems to have been designed with controllers/consoles in mind, to the point where it's basically unplayable with my keyboard/mouse (and I don't fancy buying a controller just for this).

Maybe I'll pick it up again if it gets patched, but for now, it's just going to sit unplayed in my Steam inventory Sad .

I can see why it was designed with controllers in mind considering the classics it's supposed to be like. Though it is unfortunate to hear that it's unplayable with the keyboard and mouse. The game appeared to be able to be controlled well enough with a keyboard and mouse so it's kind of surprising. How bad does it get?

Well, there's this jump in the starting area:

It's probably easy with a controller, but it seems virtually impossible with the keyboard and mouse. The arrow keys aren't lined up with the direction I need to go in in order to make the jump - and the camera is locked into position so I can't rotate it Sad .

The Nintendo Switch version will finally be released on December 14th.

I hate to say it but, they missed there chance by not putting this game out before SMO and there's still the Johntron boycotting the game.
