It's been about 14 months since I did my first rankings on the N64 characters characters of Smash. So I thought it's time to add the Melee ones into the mix and see where the N64 cast stands now. I also won't be posting on the weekends.

    Special Moves
    Standard: Thunder Jolt
    Side: Skull Bash
    Up: Agility
    Down: Thunder

Pichu was one of the many clone characters in Melee. The reason I never used him much is since his attacks hurt him and he's the lightest character in game. As for his attacks Thunder Jolt does not do much, Skull Bash is a nice decent attack, Agility kind of sucks of you can't pull it off right and his best move Thunder does not hit other players.

Weird that you're doing a list on Melee when Smash 4 has been out for half a year now. But it should still be a fun list. Pichu is a pointless character.

Mewtwo was one of the few unique newcomers in Melee. I never used Mewtwo much since his grabs and throws are his strong points and he is a light character. As for his attacks. Shadow Ball is a good move even if it hardly hits when it's at full power, I never used Confusion, Teleport is a nice recovery move and I also never used Disable much.

Jigglypuff is one of the best characters if you know how to use her. I hardly used her though since I could never time Rest right and she can be KO'd easy. As for her attacks Rollout is a nice move, Pound is a nice option to have, Sing is only good in single battles for the most part and Rest pays off if you can time it right.

Yeah, I also rarely used Mewtwo or Jigglypuff. I still don't use Jigglypuff much in Smash Wii U, I'm not sure how much I'll use Mewtwo when he releases.

Young Link is one of the other clone characters in the game. I never used him much since his range is bad and I would rather use regular Link. As for his attacks Fire Bow is a decent move since it burns the other fighter, Boomerang hardly has any range, Spin Attack is a decent move and Bomb hardly does much.

Young Link was kind of pointless, I never used him. I love how all of the characters you're putting at the bottom of your list haven't made it to Smash 4. XD

I used him more than Fox in Melee. Although, I've used Fox more in Smash 4, strangely enough.

As for his attacks Blaster can be real good if you use it a few times, Fox Phantasm is a good recovery move, Fire Fox is a decent attack and Reflector can be good at times.

Sheik is also one of the best characters in Melee. I just did not like how she was so fast and her moveset was a bit dull. As for her attacks Needle Storm is a decent move, Chain is alright, Vanish is a nice recovery move and I never used Transform since I focused on the Sheik for the battle.

As for there moves Ice Shot is a decent attack, Sequall is a good chip move, Belay is a good recovery move and Blizzard is a strong move.
