Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash

A new Chibi-Robo game has been revealed for Nintendo 3DS! It's a 2D action platformer, strangely enough. (and no I'm pretty sure it doesn't come with the other Chibi-Robo games shown at the beginning of the trailer)



It also includes Amiibo support!

AWESOME! This game looks pretty cool considering it's not like the average Chibi-Robo game. I was also not expecting there to ever be a Chibi-Robo Amiibo, that's great.

I will get this, it better not be Japan-only.

I'm not sure about this since the other game did not have much in it. I guess more info will help me make my choice though.

Chibi-robo isn't something I'd enjoy so I'll most likely skip out on this title.

Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash! Has been confirmed for October release in NA, and November release in Europe!

That's only about 4-5 months from now, so not too bad! I'm wondering if this will be an eShop or retail release...I get the feeling it's a retail game, but I don't think it'll be full price.

It will also be a retail release and the amiibo is only coming with the game in bundle.

- Zip lash to destroy enemies, charge it up to destroy giant blocks
- Collect boost balls to extend your cord
- Use zip lash just right and you can bounce your plug of walls
- Chibi-Robo amiibo will part of Zip Lash bundle with the game
- Use it transform into Super Chibi-Robo, speed and plug tossing distance is crazy impressive
- If you beat a stage, your score will be saved to the amiibo to level it up
- Based on your level, you can acquire a bunch of in-game items
- More amiibo functionality planned, stay tuned



The game sounds like something I want now since it has more to do then the other 3DS game.
I also think everyone who wants the amiibo better set a pre-order and it's cool how other amiibo will also work.

I'll definitely get the bundle of I can.

Lol I'm excited too, it's interesting to see such a different style of Chibi-Robo...I can see why they're doing it, as fantastic as the adventure games are, there's not really much else they could do with it.

I know, but they made it look like that was the Direction the series was going.

^ Hm, I suppose so. It's good that Nintendo actually has confidence in the series now, none of the games have done particularly well. (the original sold the best, and still only sold around 450k, and they even resorted to a Japan-only DS game) So I'm surprised, but I'm happy there's a new one.
