What do you want the next Sonic game to be like?

Do you want it to be a sidescroller, a 3D platformer, or a mix, or something different?
Personally, I want a Sonic 5, I have the iOS versions of Sonic 1, 2, CD and Sonic 4 Episode 1 (had Ep 2 but the new update last year caused the game to stop working and be removed), and I loved those games. I mean, Lost World was really fun, but it didn't sell well (simply because the Wii U was in a state of crisis, as it released before Super Mario 3D World, etc. and the 3DS version was kinda forgotten).
I just really hope they actually make another non-spin-off console Sonic game.

Okay okay, if anything, I'd like a simple 2D platformer in the same graphical style, possibly even the same engine, as the original game. (or maybe Sonic 3) And I'd want it to be developed by someone who could really revive the franchise in a good way. (there hasn't been a good Sonic game in a VERY long time)

^ Well, I never played it, and the general consensus is that it's mediocre. (of course, can't possibly be as bad as Sonic Boom ) So I'm just not going to count that, I have no idea how good it is. Glad you enjoyed it at least.
