The Anything Thread (5)

I face that problem every single day of my life, so I just have it everyday and you should as well.

That would be a pretty easy fix. But I don't think I really have the time to actually go and get pizza tonight so I'll probably just make something else. I want pizza. x_x

Also, just a random thought but it's ridiculous how about half of the stuff we learn in school will be useless in the latter parts of our lives.

That's always confused me about the school systems, they force several things that in the end have no impact instead of allowing one to focus on basics of things they should know as an adult. I guess the closest answer for that is to teach people a wide variety to learn how to understand those specifics that end up mandatory better.

It really doesn't seem right. Obviously there have to be requirements, but it feels like quite a few classes required end up being mostly useless in the long run unless you're going into a specific field. And yet I never learned about how to pay my taxes, buy or rent a house, etc. during school.

I'm getting back into my usual routine, nice to be home again.

Well you could take an online course to learn how to do your own taxes, or talk to your parents & ask them how they went about buying their house, & car. Some stuff you just have to learn on your own instead of in school.

^ I mean it's not that I don't know how to do it, I just feel it would've been more useful to learn that than to be learning quite a bit of what is taught in required classes. There's so much that's used in the "real world" that would've been much more helpful to learn in my opinion. Obviously not every class is 100% useless but there's a lot of information that never ends up being of use in life.

I was the same getting home a little under a week ago, it's pretty nice!

Well it's not like you can't expect school to teach you anything useful, oh heaven forbid. xD

So I'm not much of a party guy but I went to a party last night. (it wasn't much of a "party" it was just a few people hanging out at someone's house, but we called it a party for some reason :p) It was fun!

Also I'm hungry. Definitely going to eat a nice breakfast this morning.

I just ate some yogurt this morning for my breakfast. I have no idea what I'm going to have for lunch, though I do have some pizza in the freezer calling my name.. XD

^ Hey I had yogurt for breakfast too, and I'm planning to eat pizza later. We must be the same person. XD

I also had pizza last night and I avoided the party at my dad's house by coming home a day early.

I actually had to eat something else. The pizza place I wanted to go to ended up being closed early today for some reason. :/ I'm planning to go tomorrow though. I've been wanting pizza for over a week and haven't had any.
