I really liked the idea of the metal but, it really should have not been an item since there's always a metal fight in classic mode.

I guess the Unria was a decent item. I did not like the spikes want back in though.

What is that item? I don't remember it at all...but looks like that thing from Clu Clu Land.

Well, I'll go ahead and say 39 is Deku Nut then.

Most of the time the DekuNut is only half as useful since players are never in the air when one is thrown.

Is 38 the bumper/flipper? (although maybe not since you did say it was cool to see them return in for Wii U)

The Pitfall has always been a troll item. It's also a bit useless since DK's ground pound does the same thing.

I really hate the Pitfall Seed. It'll be even worse in Smash 4 if the Villager can just plant them like in Animal Crossing as one of his moves.

Is 37 the Barrel?

The Screw Attack is a decent item but, since Samus has the same attack is a bit useless.

Yeah, I also hate how they add in items that characters already have as moves. Just seems a bit lazy to me.

36 is barrel.

The Blast Box was never that helpful since a fire move or strong attack were never used that often.

Blast Box? Don't remember that one...

35 is barrel?

The Barrel is a decent item but. I don't like it since it has a bomb in it most of the time.

Yeah.

34 is Bananas? I always thought those were pointless in Brawl since Diddy can already use them as one of his moves.
