Paris Attacks

Post by Winters Thief Zero on Fri Nov 13, 2015 6:47 pm

With multiple attacks in Paris, France has closed it's borders. An estimated 40 people have so far been killed due to multiple shootings happening around the same time. Source

It's absolutely horrible what's going on, and to anyone who lives in Paris, please stay safe. My thoughts are with the people who have been killed, and hoping nothing more happens, it's absolutely terrible.

My heart goes out to all the family members and is it so hard for the killing to stop?

I saw a picture today of cities giving support to Paris by having lights colored like the French flag. It was so sweet, stay strong Paris <3.

Absolutely terrible. I hate how something like this happens, it's tragic. I feel sorry for Paris.

The worst part? My mother had tons of relatives there. At least they all survived.....
I wish the best to all French families.

This is insane. I'll never understand how the people behind these things even can be human.
Worst part, it's going to happen again. If there only was a good way to prevent and stop these horrific acts.

^This I agree with 100%.

The only way to prevent this kind of thing from happening is to declare all out war on ISIS & just out right bomb them (impo).. But it'll never happen.

There is zero way we can stop ISIS without using violence of our own. At least the rest of the world has a sense of humanity. Stay safe, people of France.

What I really hate is that people are blaming the attacks on religion when that really doesn't have anything to do with it. And regardless of what their views are it's terrible what they did.

Although what's almost worse is the fact that people that weren't involved don't think this is a serious issue when it most certainly is. What if you were one of the 130 people killed? Would it still not be serious? Yeah the main issue is the fact that this happened in the first place but it still bothers me.

ISIS has very little popular support, and the vast majority of the world's Muslims want nothing to do with them or their violence.

But, yes, this was an absolutely despicable act of terrorism. I hope that anyone involved who is still alive is captured and brought to justice swiftly - and my condolences go out to the friends and families of their victims.

But um, ISIS was already bombed a couple of days ago. sauce So, too late now.

Also, there's been this & it made me laugh: Anonymous declares war on Isis.

This is SMK. I have forgotten my old password so I made a new account.

Just to clear up some information here guys and then my own thoughts on this.

Firstly, this WAS NOT an attack on the French people specifically. This was an attack on Western lifestyles. It's going to happen again, either in Britain, or Germany.

Secondly, this shouldn't have blown up into this scale of emergency. This was done by the media. We are just helping ISIS by constantly reporting about them. People see the power of ISIS and they get scared. It's exactly want these people want.

Thirdly, Luma, I have to fully disagree with you. Unfortunately, a war is needed to end this group. They don't think on a moral level. What ever we do, they're going to keep attacking. We need to stop them effectively and efficiently. Air strikes are clearly not hurting them enough so we need to move in and get them out now.

Lastly, as funny as it may be Anonymous declaring war on ISIS, this is actually fantastic for the general population. A lot of people are recruited by ISIS on the internet, if Anonymous are able to take down these sites, then the recruitment from the Western world will be halted.

In addition, I've debated with several friends in Britain, talking about stopping all immigration until ISIS is gone here: gyazo/571c0ca7ca7aba6bcb825412b865f6c3
(Add a .com after "gyazo" to view the link. I currently can't post links)

I wouldn't want a nuke dropped on them or anything. That's silly and just asking for a nuclear war.

We just need to stop them now before more happens. And it WILL happen because it's clear that we can't stop them due to the lack of intelligence.

There is a England vs. France football game at Wembely Stadium coming up this weekend. I have a feeling something might happen there.

The general people can't really control what they do, but regardless of what they try, current efforts are definitely not enough to completely stop ISIS. It's going to take more than just airstrikes, at this point the group is fairly large and they know what their goals are.

Also I agree with Metal King about the Anonymous thing, although I really don't like the group...they may actually be useful in stopping new recruitments considering some are done through the internet.
