The Countdown Until Christmas!

Well, it's less than a month away until Christmas. To be exact, 26 days. That's actually really close, considering that it's still November. And yeah, people do like to talk about Christmas this early!

Each day, we can count down here, as this is an open-Christmas discussion. You can talk about your wish list, show pics of your trees, and much more! Anything you want as long as it is related to Christmas and the holidays!



To start the discussion here, who here celebrates St. Nick? That'll be in 7 days, on December 6th.

I don't celebrate the day at all. I hope everyone who celebrates it has a good St. Nick day.

Oh. Usually, Catholics celebrate it. Usually, you give him your "list", put out your slippers, and get some goodies early xP (Thanks anyway!)

You know some people don't celebrate Christmas, right? :p

Although I do, and I'm pretty excited. The holiday season is my favorite time of year, I generally visit family, listen to Christmas music (although I don't do that until the week before, I have other music I'd rather be listening to, but it's nice when it's close enough) I bought some clothes on Black Friday I'm not giving myself until Christmas...but that wasn't on purpose, I just somehow managed to forget the bag of clothes while I was at some of my extended family's house, they're keeping it there since I'm visiting them again for Christmas, so looks like they'll be Christmas presents now. XD

But I know my aunt also bought other clothes for me Black Friday, so I'll be getting a lot of clothes lol. If anybody else gets me something, I still really want a New 3DS XL, at this point I don't think I'm finding my 3DS. I still need to play Codename S.T.E.A.M. as well, so that too,

Not sure if I'm getting a gift this year, but hopefully it'll be Super Mario Maker. Even if I don't, I love the holiday atmosphere! Can't wait to see my relatives again.

My folks celebrate's Christmas Eve & every one on both side's of the family celebrate's Christmas Day. I've yet to put up my Christmas tree but have plans to do so sometime tomorrow. :3 (If not I tend to do so on the first of December. ^^)

Hm Christmas plans, I'm currently thinking of a white elephant gift for my cousins, but other than going to their house and getting a gift for my parents I'm not really doing much for Christmas.

I am planning to go to a bunch of Christmas events, since the Holiday season is, unsurprisingly, my favorite time of the year. The christmas lights, the presents, pretty much everything about somehow feels good.


Oh, and Rest in Peace pretty much everyone's wallet.

...too bad there's not that much I want for it this year and no one's giving me good gift ideas yet, but we'll see as time goes on.

^ Yeah same here, and there's definitely a few people I'd really like to get gifts for...I have no idea what to get for them though. And in terms of what I'd want other than clothes (which I know I'm getting and I'm sooo excited XD I love clothes) it'd be 3DS games and I still can't find my 3DS. x_x

Welp, it's 23 more days until Christmas...Or 3 more Fridays...since Christmas is on a Friday this year...

But anyways, in my area, there's this house that decorates their house with a bunch of decorations. And when I mean a bunch, I mean almost the amount of decorations you would see on those shows where they show heavily decorated "Christmas Houses". I was looking and I saw that it was featured on both HGTV and "Today". But what's most interesting is that the general public, although they can't enter the actual house, can walk around the house and even explore the front yard. I go there nearly every year and it's really great, which means, as expected, I am going again this year.

Also in the same area, but in a different town, they have a big party, and after the party, they light this giant tree. It's not as big as the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, but it's pretty big. They also have a boat parade right before the party.
