Mario Party: Star Rush

Mario Party: Star Rush launches on Nintendo 3DS November 4th along with a new Amiibo line. In the game all players move at once. It will be featured on tomorrow's Treehouse Live stream.

So I guess this is N-Stars, pretty disappointing as I was expecting something more major. Still I guess that means we technically got a new game revealed at E3 from Nintendo.

Here is the first trailer that shows off the new main mode  Toad Scramble where you play as Toads and recruit Mario characters. We also got the boxart

It kind of sucks how you can't play as the whole roster from the start in Toad Scramble. With that said the game is looking pretty decent.

Hm, definitely not what I was expecting when they said no more turn order, but looks kinda like an adventure game, I wanna know more now.

The amiibo's are probably the only good thing to come out of this tbh.

While Toad Scramble itself does seem like an interesting idea, with all we've been given so far, it really doesn't catch my interest alone.

Much better then the white boxart and based on the boxart the last 4 characters are Rosalina, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and Toadette. So where does this leave Boo? His there one more row of characters or maybe he is an amiibo unlock only.

The box-art is really nice but uh... is it me or does Peach just look off?

I love the character select screen. I always loved the style used for the character icons in 3D World so it's good to see it return in some form. Can't wait to see Toadette in that style. The boxart is definitely an improvement than what was shown before. I personally like 10 and Island Tour's boxart more out of the ND Cube Mario Parties but this one is good too.

I think she looks off as well. I think there's something off about her head on the boxart.

Coinathalon looks fun and I guess the Boo amiibo is for Boo's Block Party.
