It's been 2 months since Pokemon Sun and Moon were released, and we've got 81 new Pokemon added to the entire Pokedex. Let's see how much I like them. Just a note: Marshadow won't be on the list since it isn't released yet.

Gumshoos is pretty much your standard run-of-the-mill early-game rodent. Fittingly, its battling capabilities aren't that strong. This thing was pretty much meant for a low-tier Trick Room team, due to its low Speed and solid Attack.
#49
Pyukumuku is pretty much a bad Shuckle. As in, this thing cannot attack at all (besides Counter). It's very reliant on passive damage to do its job. It'll likely be nothing more than a meme Pokemon.

Well, here's your koala Pokemon. Komala speaks for itself. It doesn't have that much to offer in battles, though it might find a use in the lower tiers, seeing as it gets Rapid Spin and can't be put to sleep.

Shiinotic is basically what happens when you give Amoonguss a Fairy type and take away everything that made it a top threat in doubles. Had this thing known Rage Powder, it might see some usage. At least it has Strength Sap for some gimmicks.

Who would've known that lemurs act like rugby players in the Pokemon world? Passimian's teammwork is quite fascinating. With Receiver copying the ability of a defeated ally, it can make for a nice gimmick.

Necrozma continues the tradition of the third legendary being an incomplete mystery. Since it's banned from Battle Spot and it faces competition in OU, this thing likely won't get its chance to shine until it gets a new form or something. At least Prismatic Laser looks cool, if being situational in battle.

Turtonator is a slow, light Reshiram. The most impressive thing that this fire turtle gets is Shell Smash, which can make it quite deadly in low-tier play. There's also Shell Trap if you're willing to let it take hits in order to deal massive damage in return.
#43
After the reign of Talonflame, the early game bird this time is a toucan. Toucannon is quite slow among the birds, and is more focused on its raw power. This thing could be useful in low-tier play with Skill Link and multi-hit moves like Bullet Seed and Rock Blast as well as Beak Blast burning anything that touches it while it's charging up.
#42
Lurantis is quite charming, with some traits that Bug-types have while only being a Grass-type. With sun up, it's able to use Solar Blade to full effect to hit anything hard, or you can have a Contrary mantis that's a slow Serperior.

With an ability as strong as Dazzling, Game Freak had to make Bruxish's stats with no stat sticking out in particular. Still, with Psychic Fangs, this thing hits quite hard, especially in whatever tier it ends up in. Also huge credit for it being based on the state fish of Hawaii, the reef triggerfish.
