This was just announced for Wii U! The game will feature 649 Pokémon, and you can battle with up to 100 Pokémon at once. I won't be getting this, but for those interested in Pokémon Rumble, it seems nice.

Re: Pokémon Rumble U
I loved both Rumble games, but I liked them more as a "little extra". But if that's the only real game out when I get my Wii U... I guess it'll have to do. D:

What do you mean by 'real game'? Just the only game you're interested by?

Sorry, I guess "Real Game" was a bit vague... You see, The Pokemon Rumble games tend to be quite small little games, and to me the gameplay isn't exactly ground braking or anything.
I think the way the game has gone back to the eShop proves my point, it's not even marketed as a massive game or anything...
It's still a fun little game though, it just don't hold much to others. It's not like I'd buy a whole console for it... (even though it looks like I'm going to anyway)

Re: Pokémon Rumble U
Those figures are really cute...
...as for the gameplay, looks like classic Pokemon Rumble fun. Although those clips seem to be based around the arena matches you could get... I'd like to see if they'd ever upgrade the overworlds.

@Gameguy
I think it probably will release in North America.
If those figures are used in game that's cool, otherwise I probably wouldn't get them.

Re: Pokémon Rumble U
I kind of hope that the figures are not used for much else than raising points... I really don't want a Pokemon ripoff of Skylanders.
As much as that whole concept is amazingly brilliant... it just costs way too much. Thus; making it something I'd actually really want... it'll make life a lot harder in the future...
I'm ether going to be in a lot of debt... or rather unhappy.

Re: Pokémon Rumble U
Honestly, I like all of them! I wouldn't mind having them on a self somewhere.
But I'm not sure if I would... as my room is so small I display none of my pokemon stuff, which is so annoying as I'd love too, so if I were to just display these alone... it would annoy me.
The style of the WiiWare pokemon games is always something up for debate, when My Pokemon Ranch come along many people claimed to dislike it... but I've always seen it as cute~ I think it's a company called Umbrella who does it all, but I know the WiiWare Mystery Dungeon games also share this style.

Re: Pokémon Rumble U
Details about the NFC have been announced from the Corocoro magazine (I think that's what it's called). The game will feature special passwords to obtain Pokemon. The game will also allow you to make use of coins to set names of various Pokemon toys. The publication also confirms that Shiny Pokemon will be making a return, with the Garchomp being distributed as one.

Re: Pokémon Rumble U
The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo announced today the upcoming release of Pokémon Rumble U: a fun-filled action game, with intuitive controls, and wild battles.Pokémon Rumble U, the first Pokémon game exclusively for the Wii U system and the first Wii U title to feature Near Field Communication (NFC) figures, will be available in North America via Nintendo eShop on August 29th, 2013.
Pokémon Rumble U is the tale of a great adventure featuring Toy Pokémon, beginning when a delivery of Toy Pokémon is swept down a river and washes up on a strange riverbank. Our bewildered Pokémon heroes set out to find their way back to the Toy Pokémon Shop. Along the way they discover all is not right. Players will learn why some of the Toy Pokémon are fighting each other, and what the enemy Pokémon are plotting.
Featuring all 649 Pokémon through Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, and with hundreds of moves to master, Pokémon Rumble U will provide hours of entertainment for new and old Pokémon fans alike.
Pickup and play controls will allow players to jump in and play solo, or with friends, as they accompany your Pokémon heroes on their quest to return to the Pokémon Toy Shop. They will pass through a variety of fun-filled locations, like Sparkly Playland, Mysterious Forest, and Blue Sky Park.
In Pokémon Rumble U, the more Pokémon you defeat, the more Pokémon you can befriend. Different types of Pokémon have different strengths and weaknesses, so players will have to think of which Pokémon would be best in battle.
Other surprises and pickups will crop up along the way—which will help strengthen the team, restore health, or cause damage to the opponents. Pikachu and friends will encounter giant Bosses, and players can even use the Wii U GamePad controller to set off Touch Blasts when faced with many Pokémon in battle at once!
Up to four players can enjoy multiplayer battles featuring cooperative play to defeat the strongest enemies with team work or friendly competitions to see who can defeat and befriend the most Pokémon at one time. One controller needed per player.
Pokémon Rumble U NFC Figures, based on the Toy Pokémon featured in the game, will be available to link up with Pokémon Rumble U via the Wii U GamePad. Sold exclusively at participating GameStop retail stores starting August 29th, the Pokémon that show up in Pokémon Rumble U by using an NFC Figure can grow stronger by using Coins that you receive in game. Players can even change moves or add a Special Trait to their NFC Figure so it can be one of their most dependable allies in the game. The NFC Figure can even save in-game data so you can take it wherever you go. A random assortment of eighteen Pokémon Rumble U NFC Figures, including Pikachu, Victini, Deoxys (Normal Forme), Eevee, and Genesect, will be available at GameStop for a suggested retail price of $3.99 each. Pokémon Rumble U NFC Figures are optional and are sold separately packed in a concealed capsule.
Pokémon Rumble U will be available August 29th for $17.99 in the Nintendo eShop.
So it will come for North America.

Re: Pokémon Rumble U
$17.99 seems a bit overpriced, I'd rather spend my money on Pokemon X or Y rather than this, plus it's $4 just for one of the figurines? Yeah, I'm gonna pass on this.
Also, does anyone think they should've changed the name? Lol, Pokemon Rumble U isn't the best name, even if it is only on Wii U.
