Paper Mario Sticker Star

I think the stickers kinda messed up everything, I really hate the sticker idea, just everything abiut them really.

Best Buy is having a sale on this, it's only $19.99 there. While I dislike the game, I do think that's a pretty good deal.

Yeah I got the game like a month ago, and I don't really og back to it much because the style is too bad, I got annoyed in SPM but SS was much worse.

This is very strange, I heard so many people praise this game...yet a lot here don't seem to be a part of it's following...

It was on my list of "I should pick this up when it's cheap/I have the money" list...

Now I'm not too sure... (I've not played any other Paper Mario Game though...)

In a sense the first two paper marios were in the same genre of turn-based RPG battle, to platforming style in Super Paper Mario, and odd limited attack turn-based style in Sticker Star.

So the game is more of a platformer now? Or one with RPG elements?

If you haven't played a Paper Mario game before though, I's suggest starting with the original or TTYD.

Sticker Star has the RPG elements, but you have to find attacks in the field, you can hold so many at once and once you use it you have to get another one.

@Zero: It sounds like Super Paper Mario would interest me more then, but maybe if I find one of the other versions I'll pick it up...

@Cubone: Oh god, that does sound annoying... I hate elements like that which are made just to be irritating. Although, it can't be that bad giving the games good reception elsewhere...

The worst thing about Sticker Star is the main engine.

I just... don't like this game, it's even worse than SPM imo.

^ I agree...and because of that, I don't think I could even be excited at all if another one is announced. This just makes me dislike Paper Mario as a whole.

Yeah, I've lost interest in Paper Mario and it felt like a chore to go through World 3.

I reached world 3 after losing all my stickers to the second world's boss, I just, I just don't want to play anymore.

Reminds me of when you forget to save in pokemon... and you have to level up your guy all over again... only this time it's forced into the game...

...I have no idea who said this was a good game...but I think they could of been wrong.
