A new Giana Sisters game has been confirmed for the Wii U eShop and XBLA.

I've seen a bit more gameplay to this and let me just say... it looks amazing. The graphics are fantastic, and the game seems to feel like the DS version of the game. (Have a look around for it if you've not yet)

One thing that bothered me is that there was no second "sister" in the DS one, it seems that problem has been solved this time around.

I think it's out today, and honestly... I might get it if it's just like, 800 points or so, I might give it a full on playthough after SM:RPG.

What do you guys think? Want me to upload more videos?

I didn't think there'd be another one, it looks potentially good though, I might look into getting it.

At first I was like "Gotta be getting me a Wii U for for this" and then I saw the beautiful words of "Coming to XBLA".

Don't get me wrong, if the game's that good I may end up getting it on both.

I would only get it on both if each had it's own seperate features for the game...I'd assume the Wii U version will be playable from the gamepad as well, but I don't expect anything else on that.

The Wii U one DOES have an extra feature... it's called "being an actual game to play on Wii U".

I would say "jokes aside" and attempt to make an actual point... but I'm not kidding... if I got a Wii U and this was the only real game for it... I would simply have no other choice.

Of course. But by a special feature...I didn't really mean just the fact that you can play it on another console, I meant actually being in-game. (but perhaps there are other special features that I'm unaware of)

Sorry Zero, I did know what you meant, I was just having a little joke at the Wii U's expense.

I'm not sure what they could do more with it that wouldn't just seem like a gimmick. I mean, the DS Giana Sisters I always praised for just being feeling so fresh yet such a simple retro feel to it. To me Giana sisters pulled of "New Super Mario Bros" better than NSMB itself.

The going between two worlds concept seems interesting enough, something maybe Ninty could of done for our boy Mario, so I think that's push enough for a 2D platformer like this. I seriously can't think about what that gamepad could be used for that just wouldn't... annoy me.

Yeah, the idea is creative, and I think Mario could do better. (if it wasn't just NSMB all the time Razz)

Well, as for do it better... I'll personally have to get my hands on it before I put that vote in.

But the design itself goes to Giana Sisters, that's brilliant.

Also, just want to note, PC users can play this game now, apparently it's out since OCTOBER... I don't want to spoil it for myself though, and sadly looks like this game has gone instantly "underground". I hope the Wii U and XBLA versions bring it to the service a bit.

Not well known, going unheard of... being underrated. Still being a good game, but only to a set of certain people.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams will be coming to the Wii U eShop this August! It already released in October 2012 for PC though, so it's not new. Razz At least you'll have the Wii U gamepad regardless, so hopefully that will make it a bit more interesting.

Not a game I'm planning on getting, but I do have some money left on the Wii U eShop that's unused. So I may buy it since I know I'm not downloading a full retail game to my Wii U anytime soon.

I'm not familiar with what's on the Wii U eShop, but... If you aren't planning on getting this I'd wait until something you really want is out(digital specific). This is just some advice from someone who's made this mistake many times.

But... It also depends on how much money you have left, Raz.
