This is a great game I beat it three times the only thing I don't like is that it is kind of sad.

Since there's no real information in this topic, might as well post some:

This is the second game in the Mana series, and is a sequel to Final Fantasy Adventure on the Gameboy. (there are also tons of sequels after that for Nintendo consoles as well as Playstation and a future game for iOS and Android) It is a JRPG made by Square, and is now available on the Wii Virtual Console. It was one of the first RPGs that uses real-time battles instead of turn-based battles in most other RPGs at the time of it's release.

first part of the story:
Disobeying their Elder's instructions, three boys from the small Potos
village trespass into a local waterfall where a treasure is said to be
kept. One of the boys, the game's protagonist (named Randi in the
original Japanese version), stumbles and falls into the lake, where he
finds a rusty sword embedded in a stone. Guided by a disembodied voice,
he pulls the sword free, inadvertently unleashing monsters in the
surrounding countryside of the village. The villagers interpret the
sword's removal as a bad omen and banish the boy from Potos forever. An elderly knight named Jema recognizes the
blade as the legendary Mana Sword, and encourages the hero to
re-energize it by visiting the eight Mana Temples.

I still haven't played this game, and doubt I'd be able to get it since my Wii is broken and I don't have a SNES.

I've played this before but just like Children of Mana, I couldn't get into it.

Putting aside CoM on DS, something about SNES JRPGs are dull and boring to me. And yes. That INCLUDES Chrono Trigger.
