Mario Party: Island Tour

So a month after Wii Party U? Really, these Nintendo release dates are in kinda bad places. More people like MP so I wouldn't be surprised if Wii Party U totally fails in terms of sales. But then having Pokemon a month before, really don't see this doing too well either.

Oh well, I'm sure this will be a great game anyway, depending on when I'm able to get Pokemon and some other games, might have to get this a few months after release.

Newegg listed some new info on Mario Party 3DS.

The 30-floor tower climb sounds like a mini-game mode and the Streetpass battles likely makes

30 floor tower climb? If the minigames suck, then I probably will never use that mode, since I don't want to play 30 of the minigames in a row.

Streetpass battles make this sound awesome though, it's sorta like how they're doing the Miiverse multiplayer for Wii U.

I'm pretty excited for a new Mario Party. I'm expecting some great, fresh mini-games.

A 30 floor tower climb sounds like a miniature Mini-game Island, or an Endurance Alley type mode but just much shorter. That'd be something interesting as long as the mini-games are good and excludes the luck-based ones.

No demo for Mario Party 3DS at Gamescon or Pax Prime while the rest of the the the upcoming Nintendo games this year were at Gamescon and most games will be at Pax Prime.
This game might be pushed back if we don't hear anything about it in the next Nintendo Direct since Nintendo has not said anything about the game since the April Nintendo Direct besides that it's still coming in November in the July Nintendo Direct Mini.
Also I don't think Nintendo wants to have demos of both Wii Party U and Mario Party 3DS at the same place so maybe that's also way.

That's probably just because it isn't a big-budget title and they know it won't sell as well as pretty much all of their other games. But it could be delayed, I just think Nintendo has delayed way too many games in the past 2 years or so. :p

Nintendo of America just announced Mario Party: Island Tour will be releasing on November 22nd, the same release date as A Link Between Worlds. I guess I won't be getting this since I'm going to get A Link Between Worlds instead. I might eventually ourchase it when the price has been reduced.

First Mario Golf World Tour and now Mario Party Island Tour it's strange how there adding Tour or Island in the recent spinoff games.

Flutter could host a board or be playable.
Bowser Jr. might be playable but, I think you just face him in solo mode.
Boo might be playable but, he might just be someone you need to beat in solo mode or he takes items.
Since Luma's are all over the space board I don't think the one on the boxart is playable.
Since Rosalina was on the space stage I don't think she is playable but, she might be since she is on the boxart and Yellow Toad is not.
I think Shy Guy is just a card effect since Luigi is holding other Shy Guy cards.

Also stars and mini stars return.

I might not get this game when it comes out since it comes out on the same as 3D World and A Link Between Worlds but, I might get it at some point.

I really like the new name, it sounds more interesting and the box-art looks amazing.

Mario Party Island Tour has been moved to an early 2014 release date in Europe.

It might be moved to early 2014 in the US since there was nothing show in the Nintendo Direct. Though I guess they could always show a trailer outside of a Nintendo Direct.

I really don't care all that much, I wasn't planning on getting it anyway. Plus it's only for the UK right? The US version is still releasing in November?

It looks like the Bit Block has found out that Mario Party Island Tour is still coming out on November 22nd in North America.

So it seems Mario Party Island Tour is just delayed for Europe and still launches in November for US and Japan.

This game will also be at the New York Cosmic Con.

It looks like Yellow Toad might be the host for all the boards again and I hate how this board will only have a few mini-games. Though I think you might play one every turn on some other boards. Also I think Nintendo does not want anyone to see the character select screen since it likely has the hidden character icons on it like Bowser Jr, Boo and maybe Rosalina might have been moved to the roster since I don't think she would just be on the box because if Yellow Toad host the space board.

So it looks like Boo and Bowser Jr are playable from the start. I also really liked the AR card game and the mic game even though I can't do voices for Peach, Daisy and Boo.
