I do have the game, it's probably one of my favorites gameplay-wise, but the controls were a bit awkward and hard to control at times, thus my frustration with this game. Other than that, I did like it. The beetle was a cool item.

Great game, highly recommendable indeed, the looks of the colors and moments were very well done.

This game has the best use of what the wii could do and the boss fights were ok but the bad control can make you not hit them.

Haven't played this game yet, but I really want to. Looks really good. I am mad that they took out the Spinner though :-(

This is actually the first 3D I've bought proper. =p
I enjoyed it, having the overworked hub of Skyloft was a refreshing change. I was pissed off that Link was a rightie in this but whatever, I cleared the game fitting left-handed style.
I got trolled early by Skulltulas in the first Temple in the Faron Woods since I kept getting slashing rather than stabbing .-.
Final boss was epic, haven't gotten far in Hero Mode though :L (haven't played the game in more than half a year :p)
I wish that Link wasn't such a lazy ass though. And Zelda was too genki for me to really warm to her character >.>

I love everything about this title. I really enjoy playing it & doing the hero run is fun on it's own when you've beat it the first time. It's a challenge of course; but it's still worth the extra bit of effort to play it through again.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
I'm replaying through this title (via Wii U backwards comparability) & I have to say that I still don't like Fi. She's always either interrupting what it is I'm already doing that she tells me I should be doing or gives me information I already blooming bleeding know already. The worse thing for me is when Fi breaks the fourth wall. OMG I HATE when she does that. <.<;

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Wow, looking at my posts from 4 years ago is pretty cringe worthy...
Although honestly my thoughts are pretty similar now as they were then. I still think the controls are awkward and don't work as they're supposed to. They're not horrible, but there are times where they don't work as well as others, specifically during the fights with Ghirahim. I found that the game would always get the direction I was swinging completely wrong during those fights and it made them much more difficult than they otherwise would've been. But overall I do really like the game, and it's definitely the Wii's defining Zelda game. The world is much more interesting to explore than Twilight Princess just because it's so much less empty. It could be helped by the fact that the game itself is pretty linear anyway so there's not much need to go off the path but it still felt much fuller to me.
