Fire Emblem Fates

The new name and English translation is cool, but nothing else that's new really, probably because it releases in Japan so soon. Still excited though!

Still interested in getting this game; I can't wait until both drop to play them. :3

I'm not too fond of the dubbed name, it just can't compare to some older titles. The English voices sound great though, and I'm even more excited for the game now (I've lost count of how many times I've said that).

Oh cool! Can't wait to read it! It's always strange to see the Iwata Asks up overv half a year before the game's release. Wish we got it shortly after Japan...

So which version do you guys plan to buy as your full price game?

I'm likely going to get Birthright to be honest. I'd like to play through every path, so it's best to start with the easiest one I'd think. I'll probably download the other main path and the third path at a later time, when I'm completely done with Birthright. It's just really weird that there will be basically 3 complete individual Fire Emblem games releasing all around the same time.

Wait.. I thought there were 2 game titles releasing not three though. Oh derp there's also the Fire Emblem X Pop Idol game. I'm not getting that I like the main Fire Emblem series. I'm not into pop idol video games really.

I'll get the other two main Fire Emblem series games since it's essentially replacing the main Pokemon series double buys.

I think the third one comes later, I think it's like you're not on either side or something, I'm probably wrong about that, but there are going to be three versions, without the SMTXFE.

Yep Cubone's right, I'll also be buying all 3, the pricing is pretty great considering they're basically 3 completely individual games. Like with Pokemon you have to pay $40 for each barely different version, this would be more like $80 total for 3 different Fire Emblem games. Should be awesome! :3

I couldn't avoid spoilers, but Nohr/Conquest still looks the most interesting to me. I'm most likely going to get that one and download the other two once I've finished it.

Birthright will be my pick since I know the other one will be in the same boat as the rare amiibo and Majora's Mask New 3DS. I also think the price will add up to $100 for all 3 paths.

Fire Emblem Fates is already the 4th highest selling Fire Emblem title in Japan ever, and that's only based on the first 2 days it was out! Source

I'm glad the series is doing well, hopefully they'll try to get that localized version out more quickly knowing it's this successful.

It's really great to see Fire Emblem so successful. 

Even if I may be losing interest in this franchise, being able to see how much people appreciate this series gives me hopes it will continue to live on for years to come. I'd really like to see one on Wii U. 

Although, it seems they would rather focus the series on handheld more... I'm not sure why.

I also wonder how long each path will be?
