The DK Rap

Any thoughts on the DK Rap?

Personally I love the song, it's entertaining in a way and it introduces the playable Kongs. I like it as it's not a serious song. I don't even like that kind of music.

Grant Kirkhope claims it was a joke according to his website:

I've always found it hilarious, and I knew it was never meant to be taken seriously. It's really a great intro to the game, and it can be skipped, so I don't see why people have always made such a big deal out of it.

Fun fact: The Virtual Console version is censored for whatever reason.

^It's not Zero, they still says Chunky is "one hell of a guy".

Oh yeah I listen to it almost every time I start the game as well.

^ Also it's not censored in my Wii U version or my N64 cartridge. I heard some N64 cartridges have a censored version but I've never heard it outside of Smash Bros.

It is a very good song and the lyrics express the Kongs very well, I don't get why people think it is the worst music ever. You know, it is better than 50% of the rap music over the world! (No i am not sarcastic)
