Nintendo Direct

Nintendo has confirmed they will be airing a Nintendo Direct presentation on September 13th at 6 pm EST/3 pm PST. It will last about 35 minutes and focus on upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS titles.

This had been rumored for awhile and it seems like it turned out to be true! I'm pretty excited, especially considering I have the literal entire day off tomorrow, which never happens, so this will be the perfect way to spend my night.

Oh boy, I'm out of class tomorrow around 5-ish so this will be perfect to come back to! Hoping for some surprise announcements perhaps. I'd hate to just see the same games we already know about!

I have the day off work tomorrow, so, I will definitely be watching this.

I am hoping for a Animal Crossing Switch announcment.

I'm expecting them to go in depth about Nintendo Switch online, For them to announce the long rumored New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, some 3DS remake that will piss people off, share details on a story mode for Super Mario Party and of course there will be a newcomer show for Smash.

While it sucks that the Direct got delayed everyone being safe is more important.

Definitely a smart move on Nintendo's part, even if it was in Hokkaido you never know what kind of aftershocks or further earthquakes may come and this one was devastating, they shouldn't keep people in offices this week. Although I am disappointed as the timing for this was perfect for me haha.

The Nintendo Direct has been officially rescheduled for tomorrow, September 13th, at 6 pm EST. It will still last 35 minutes and include 3DS and Switch games, and has also been confirmed to discuss Nintendo Switch Online in more detail.

I feel like some of the already announced things like FF15 Pocket Edition, the Mega Man 11 demo Civilization 6 and the Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee bundle will planned to be part of the Direct so a big part of the Direct will likely be stuff we already know about and the Switch Online will likely take up 10 minutes. So the best thing we can hope for is at least new game announcement we don’t know about like Pikmin 4 or Animal Crossing Switch.

^ Yeah, I honestly think it's kinda odd that they're talking about all this stuff when the Direct is literally happening in less than 24 hours, you'd think they would just wait to include it in that.

So we got 2 new Switch games, 1 3DS port, lots of FF games coming to the Switch and even a new game by Gamefreak. While I would have loved to see Pikmin there's always next time and 2019 is looking to be a great year for games.
