A Link to the Past

Since we had a topic about the sequel, I thought it only made sense to have one about the original.

I only played it on the Wii Virtual Console, and I guess it was alright. I only played through the first dungeon, but it was enjoyable to an extent. I never got to experience the light and dark world thing, but I do think it seems like a nice idea.

I've played it from start to finish, you guys don't know what your missing. Personally I like getting the golden sword which is a bit more powerful. But you'll never know about it's awesomeness I suppose. =p

Probably not, the VC version I played was on my cousin's Wii. My brother, who actually quite likes Zelda, said that this game was missing something that made it not as good as other Zelda games. Anyone else feel the same way?

Probably the story element to the game as the other newer Zelda games have had. Yea it has some of a story but you also have to rescue all of the Sage's daughters who are Maidens along with Zelda.

If anything the other games are missing the dark world to my mind. :p

I never played this game.

However I did watch a full walkthrough of the game on youtube.

So I might pick it up some day.

This is my older brother's favorite Zelda game, he used to have an SNES with this game. I have it for Wii Virtual Console and I think it's a fantastic Zelda Title. The idea of the Dark world was very intriguing.
