Black Nintendo 3DS XL releasing August 11th

The black Nintendo 3DS XL will finally be releasing in North America on August 11th, just in time for Mario and Luigi Dream Team. source

I'm wondering if the Pokemon X and Y bundles will be bundled with the black Nintendo 3DS XL as well as Blue and Red, but I'm kinda doubting that.

I knew this was coming.
The Real Canadian Superstore was advertising it last week.

It's Not really a 3DS XL color I would want, but it's better than other 3DS colors. I wonder if it's bundled with some recent 3DS title.

Considering it's releasing on the same day as Mario and Luigi Dream Team is, it's possible it will be bundled with that game. I honestly don't know why they would choose to bundle it with any other game anyway...

REALLY need to get one of these....I CURSE Big N for DROPPING my beloved GBA slot back with the (awful!) DSI, but whatcha' gonna do; the 3DS is the 'current evolution' of the GB/DS, so I'll have to go with the flow, sigh...
(To be fair, there are a few 3DS games, thus far, that I need to grab....I'm more interested in the system's power than the 3D gimmick, but its all good.)

Well, considering the Gameboy Advance was released over 10 years ago, it really only makes sense to remove it...but it would be nice to still have that GBA compatibility.

 Well, thats sensible from a corporate standpoint, sure.   Still, I will always be SORE that the 'current' handheld offerings will be SANS the GBA slot.  I mean, HUNDREDS (thousands?) of top-shelf games are unable to be enjoyed in true hard-copy form...sigh...c'mon, Nintendo... 

Alas, though - I will always have my army of DS Lites that will run my GBA/DS games beautifully, and several SP-101s (BRIGHT screen models!) for my GB/GBC games.   

Thus far, my only 'must own' games on 3DS are Resident Evil, Mario 3D, and Castlevania.  (Wifey is patiently waiting for a 3DS Golden Sun, but we shall see...)
