Nintendo announces games releasing this year

Nintendo of America has announced the following:

"During the next several months, Nintendo expects to launch new titles in
the Mario Kart (Wii U), Super Mario Bros. (Wii U), Wii Fit (Wii U),
Pikmin (Wii U), The Legend of Zelda (Wii U and Nintendo 3DS), Mario
& Luigi (Nintendo 3DS) and Pokémon (Nintendo 3DS) franchises."

This leads us to believe that Mario Kart U, Super Mario U, Wii Fit U, and Zelda U will be releasing by the end of this year. Zelda U hasn't even been announced at all yet, and MK and the Mario 3D game have only been hinted of new information. So it's kinda strange to see they'll probably be released this year.

Didn't expect Mario Kart this year.

I wasn't expecting the Zelda U game this year either. I was expecting the Zelda 3DS to be released first really since I've seen way more gameplay for it then the Zelda title for the Wii U.. Unless the Zelda U is the Wind Waker remake of course. xp

No mention of Mario Golf: World Tour worries me despite the trailer from Nintendo Direct saying this summer.

^ I think it is coming this summer still. These were games that are coming further in the year than that.

I never really thought about it just being Wind Waker HD. It probably is.

Mario Kart was least surprising to me, though, since they do usually release them the year they're announced.

Iwata also said more unannounced 3DS titles and Wii U titles are in the works.

They haven't even decided on a final name for Wii Party U and it's releasing in a couple months? (well, this summer...)

Also, I'm glad they confirmed it was a 3D Mario game, I don't think they confirmed it before.
