How do you name your characters in games?

How do you name your characters in games like RPGs?

I used to use the name 'Ness' on pretty much every main characters but I now use the name 'Neon' on them. I didn't really want to name characters like Link Ness.

It depends really, sometimes I'll do the canon name they have, sometimes I'll put in my name, or it'll be a time where I put in a name that makes everyone say stupid stuff that gets unfunny after like three minutes.

I usually name characters in RPG's after family members or oc characters I have. With Sabin there I usually name him 'Bear' because when the characters first meet him Terra asks if he is one. XD I also name him Victor due to my being a Suikoden fan & Victor is called a 'bear' in the game series just as Sabin is when he's introduced.

I had this funny idea where in both Terra & Nanami both call out "BEAR" to Victor & Sabin as these are the characters who nickname them as such. XD

I usually name my characters 'Zero', hence why my username on here is Zero. Occasionally I'll just put 'A' or something of the sort because I'm too lazy to type in more letters. XD

I usually just call them "CJ". Lazy, I know  .

Male: Unknown or Kyoujin

Female: Sakura or Silvia

If last name is required: Entity or Rei
