Mario vs. Sonic

lol Bringing back old debates.

But no. Out of the two, whom do you like more?(give a reason if you want)

Sonic for me. Only because I simply enjoy his games more with frequency of voiced dialogue and individual personality traits on characters.

It fleshes the franchise out more, methinks.

I like Mario better because at least his series of video games don't suck as much as some of Sonic's games have over the years. <.<; Mario is a classic & can always be enjoyed.. Sonic; depending on the game is either too over the top or just meh all around.

Mario for me, I love playing the games.
But in my mind, Sonic is a better character.

I completely agree with Luma. I have always preferred Mario games over Sonic, they're simply more enjoyable all-around. Sonic games range from terrible to pretty good imo. Sonic is a better character though...Mario literally has no personality whatsoever. :p

It depends on the two games one is comparing, because both have their highs and lows, though overall I tend to enjoy the Mario franchise more, due to its wide variety.

I like Sonic better- it is mainly because I suck at 2d Mario games.
I also started with Sonic earlier than Mario.
I also like heroes that talk more than heroes who are silent.

I honestly prefer the way Mario is silent to Sonic having a voice. This is mostly due to the fact that Sonic games have voice acting, and it's terrible. Sonic's voice generally isn't as annoying as the others, but it's still bad.

And 3D Mario games are just too amazing for me to even compare Mario and Sonic. While I still prefer 2D Mario games over Sonic, those aren't quite as revolutionary to me.

I like Mario more since I like his games more then the Sonic games. I do think that Sonic is the better character though.

I can excuse Mario being silent because I guess it's one of his..."fortes".

I don't normally mind Sonic VA... But Shadow's current voice always makes me...cringe.
