Holiday 2013

Since American Thanksgiving has past, it's getting very close to the December holidays. Which of the holidays do you celebrate, and what do you plan to do?

I celebrate Christmas (it seems most of us do ). Every year I visit with a large portion of my family about 8 hours away. I celebrate Christmas with them, so that's always nice.

I celebrate Christmas with my family & my sweetheart's family. Usually we spend Christmas Eve day with my side of the family & Christmas Day with his. His family lives about half an hour away so it's not so bad.

I also celebrate New Years with my sweetheart & every year he always takes me out to eat some where special. :3

Yes, I too celebrate Christmas. I always spend it with my dad & my brother and a few family members show up too. I'm pretty lucky I must say.

Usually for New Years I go out with a bunch of work friends & eat out some place that's open past midnight. XD It's always a wild party!

Because I'm an Anglo-Saxon pagan, I celebrate the Winter Solstice.

Nah, just kidding. I celebrate Christmas as well, with my family  .

For Christmas my family has like the week before it to go to all the relatives, and then I usually spend New Years with friends.

I plan to stay home away from society.

I guess I should say... For Christmas I plan to stay away from my family. I don't particularly like hanging around them even though it can be enjoyable.

I know it's not avoidable, I just prefer to be alone.

For Christmas, I try to make Christmas Cookies. Sometimes I sucess, but sometimes, I miserably fail.

^ I forgot to mention I generally do the same. What kinds of Cookies do you make for Christmas Nessness?

I usually make Gingerbread cookies- that's the best way to give cookies a 'Christmas' flavor.
When I don't have enough time, I change them to chocolate chips.

I actually made some peanut butter cookies for Thanksgiving; my brother had a few but my sweetie & I ended up eating the rest of them. XD My family tends to like chocolate chip cookies over peanut butter; where as I lerve peanut butter cookies. I plan to make some chocolate chip cookies for Christmas though; but I'll end up having to make 2 batches since I want some cookies for me. XD

^ I know, when I give any kind of food I make to anyone else, I always have to make extra so I have some for myself. XD

For me, I tend to eat Chocolate Chip Cookies at any time during the year, around Christmas I (and usually some of my other family members) make Anisette Cookies, which are my absolute favorite kind of cookie. :3

It isn't even December.....
