Any one play Metorid the Other M?

Besides just me? I played it about a third of the way through but I couldn't play it all the way through cause this game is just so terrible. I plan to play it all the way through but it's just so hard cause the game was done so badly. D:

Any one else who played this game think it's just as bad or maybe some one thinks that maybe this game maybe better then this? Either way; discuss.

However, just yesterday I read about it a bit. Only because a certain character caught my attention.

Metroid games look fun but my motivation to pick up and play... *slumps on couch*

I haven't, while I have played Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, and all 3 Metroid Prime games, this one just looks terrible, and everybody says it's terrible. Which is unfortunate, but hopefully a Wii U Metroid will be great and we can just forget Other M ever existed. XD

Would someone mind explaining in more detail why this is the Sonic '06 of Metroid?

According to reviews and gameplay I've seen, the story is just downright terrible and completely ruins the plot of the entire series. The controls dont work correctly at all, and the level design isn't great, nor is the combat system.

I only played a little bit at my friend's house, or rather he played as I watched, only doing the tutorial then he put it down. There was never a real reason for me to want to go out of my way to actually pick it back up, didn't leave any sort of impression on me.

I've played this too mam. Being the first Metorid game I ever played; I thought the aiming was terrible.. But never being able to miss an enemy made the game way too easy on the flip side of things too. ~_~

Nope but, maybe I might try it sometime if I can find it for $10 or under.
