How do you pronounce Pokemon?

How do you pronounce Pokemon? I've heard it pronounced so many different ways, I'm not sure what the 'official' way to pronounce it is though.

I say it like "Poke A Mon" (the A being pronounced like it is in April or May) Most people say it like "Poke E Mon," which I always thought was wrong.

I always say Poke E Mon, never any special reason behind it, but it's really just how I've always said it and never had reason to give a second thought until now.

I say it Poke E Mon like Cubone and my dad calls it Poke Man.
