Subtitles or Numbers Empty Subtitles or Numbers

Post by Winters Thief Zero Mon Mar 03, 2014 10:15 pm

Do you prefer when game sequel names have subtitles or are numbered?

Personally I'd say subtitles. While the numbers make it shorter, when there are tons of games it's both harder to keep track of them and it's not as creative. Like Final Fantasy for example. Razz So I prefer subtitles myself.

    Yea subtitles for me too.
Numbers aren't as creative, where as subtitles can be.

    It depends, really.

If it's successive iterations of the same concept (e.g. with Civilization), then I prefer numbers.
If, on the other hand, it's successive instalments in a story, then I prefer subtitles.

I don't mind either the subtitles or numbers since they're both pretty much the same thing to me. Razz

Sometimes I enjoy both, yet most of the time I do enjoy seeing a different name giving you a hint to the new/continuation of the story to be revealed in the upcoming game.

Personally; I like subtitles. Not that the numbers are confusing per-say; it 's just that sometimes the numbering gets ridiculous really after say: part 30 releases. XD
