How often do you purchase games on launch day?

How often do you purchase new games on launch day?

Personally I purchase games day one rarely. I either don't have the money to get it that day, or wind up being too busy to go out and get it. The only games during 2013 I bought launch day were Pokemon Y and A Link Between Worlds...so I guess twice a year?

I get games the day they come out for the most part. Though sometimes I might not get a game until weeks later.

Hardly ever.

Sonic Riders, SM3DL, and ToGf were the only VGs I did this with.

All of which were pre-ordered(and the only ones ever pre-ordered).

I never have until I bought Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze in the past calendar year.
So, it's uncommon for me.

For me it depends on if I know it's going to be hard to get a hold of the game or not. If I know the game will be hard to get I'll pre-order & pick it up at launch. If not then I don't. Depending on the game & if I have the money for it then yea sure if I can get out & get the game on launch I will.

With Zelda games, I always get them on launch day: period. Other wise; it usually depends. xp
