by Like DKCR this game has a hard mode that you unlock after you beat the final level of the game. There are no check points and you can only bring one kong into the level and they will only have one heart.

This should be available from the beginning just because some people want even more challenge than the game already gives in the normal difficulty. But if Mirror Mode was removed, then I guess it's fine. I likely won't play the game in hard mode, as I never seem to want to finish a game again in the hard mode if a game offers it. (for example, when I started Hero Mode in ALBW and just didn't feel like finishing it again)
Maybe if I beat it and come back to it in a year or so, and then try the hard mode out.
