Ice Worlds

Ice worlds tend to be on two sides on the spectum: you either like or hate them. What is your view on them?

I find them to be more tolerable than some other levels (water levels). Here are some that I really like:

Holoska (Sonic Unleashed)
NSMB World 5
Snowhead (LoZ:MM)
Frozen Factory (Sonic Lost World)
Cool Cool Mountain (SM64)
Icecap (Sonic Adventure)
Freezeflame Galaxy (SMG)
Freezeezy Peak (Banjo-Kazooie)

I love ice/snow worlds, probably just because I love snow, but there are also some really well designed ice worlds. My favorite is Cool Cool Mountain from Super Mario 64, I also like that ice/fire mix world in Banjo-Tooie. (I forget the name) Also, when there's snow on the ground in Animal Crossing.

Really ice levels I kind of dislike, though I like the snow portions, it's the areas where you walk on ice that I tend to get annoyed by because of the constant super sliding, but I like the atmosphere generally, like I enjoy the Galaxy games' snow levels quite a bit.

I'd rather deal with snow levels/world then water ones for most times myself. XD My favorite Ice worlds usually involve Mario, Zelda, & there's an awesome place to explore in Ni No Kuni that's covered in snow with sweet looking monsters to capture too. ^^

Oh yeah, I hate ice, slipping and sliding around everywhere. It's an cool idea (though used in almost every game with ice potions now ) I just hate having the slippery physics really.

I know everyone's mentioned favorites, but what are your LEAST favorite ice worlds? Technically this isn't an ice world in the common sense, but when Olaf uses his Blizzard CO Power in Advance Wars it's really annoying, so that'd be my least favorite ice world for sure since it makes all of your units get much less distance on their turn.

I like most of the Snow levels in Mario and Zelda games/

As for the ones that I dislike. Those would be any Sonic ice levels since you can just slip off the ice in most cases.
