Rename Nintendo Franchises?

I wasn't going to ask for opinions to all users, but it makes sense to. Do you think the Nintendo Franchises board should be renamed? I believe the "franchises" should be dropped since there are threads in the board not related to a specific game or game series. So I think just calling it Nintendo (or something else that doesn't include franchises) would make more sense. However, I'm asking for everyone's opinions, so if you don't agree, say something so I don't just do it anyway.

How about renaming it: Game Series? Since some of the games that have subforums are a part of a series.

My suggestion is to move the Nintendo Franchises to the In depth Gaming Discussion area. The subforums being moved into the games they belong to. But that's just my opinion mind you. ;p

But yea, renaming the Nintendo Franchises as "Game series" as Yusei suggested does sound like a pretty good idea impo. :3

I completely disagree with Queen and Yusei.
In-Depth Game Discussion is for In-Depth discussion of specific games.
They're Nintendo Exclusives, why would you call it "Game Series"?
Nintendo Franchises or Exclusives is better.

Uh, no, the whole point of the In-Depth Game Discussion boards are to discuss specific games.

You know what though, I wanted to rename it "Nintendo" for a totally different reason, but I think renaming it "Nintendo Exclusives" would be much better. I won't even try to clear up what I was trying to convey in my original post since I think Luma's suggestion for Nintendo Exclusives is a much better name. There are way more threads made for Nintendo exclusives that aren't Nintendo franchises than there are threads such as Club Nintendo.

I know I'm just being confusing, but I think I've decided to rename it Nintendo Exclusives. And Yusei, thanks for the suggestion. But the board isn't just for game series, it's for Nintendo games in general. The sub-boards for major Nintendo franchises are for keeping the board clean and easy to navigate. Because so many threads are in the board, it makes it easier to find one on a Mario game or Metroid game. Whereas with a game like The Wonderful 101, for example, it isn't a game series, it's simply one game. If that makes sense, sorry if I'm just making it even more confusing somehow. x_x

But yeah I think Luma's suggestion for Nintendo Exclusives is great, I'm definitely going to use this. Unless somebody thinks there's still a better name for it.

I was thinking that maybe there should be a Nintendo General sub board for topics like Club Nintendo and other Nintendo topics that are not about games. Since the solo games get moved to the back of pages quickly for the most part.

^ Oh, you know, that would work too. I'll have to think about it though, since there's already a ton of sub-boards of Nintendo Exclusives.
