In Mario Kart 8 the karts and bikes are more balanced then Mario Kart Wii. I played with karts and bikes though and it just seems like bikes are way better then karts since they can take tight turns and it seems like the drifting is better. There are still a few great like the Mach 8 and the Circuit Special but, why use those when the bikes are just as good.

I've heard so many people saying the bikes are really hard to drift with, and I don't understand that. It's much easier to drift with the bikes than it is with karts, and it feels much tighter imo. But maybe I'm just used to using bikes since I used them so much in the Wii version. The bikes are also faster.
