    Yoshi Circuit is back!



    I guess this opens the window for tracks to return again since Yoshi Circuit came back in DS. The track look really good though.

    If it weren't for the amazing remix of that theme, I would be extremely disappointed. Razz Still, the track looks exactly the same as in Double Dash and DS, they didn't change it AT ALL it seems. (other than some aesthetic changes, of course) It would be one thing if it wasn't already used as a retro track in DS, but having been used twice already, couldn't they change it up a bit? :/

    And that ATV was shown without the name, Tanooki Mario had a tire on the back.
    I like how they showed all the Yoshis and Yoshi using the B Dasher.
    We still haven't got any gameplay footage of Link, the Blue Falcon, the Master Cycle or any of the other tracks yet.

    ^ Yeah, I really want to see Link in motion, but I suppose it'll just have to wait. The DLC will likely be out soon though, seems like they're finished with it if they're making full trailers like that. (and they have the music too) I'm thinking pretty early in November.

    That's really cool how they made it just like Excitebike for the most part and since the track is short maybe it will have more then 3 laps like Baby Park.

    Wow, that looks MUCH better than I thought it would be. The track seemed to be bland before, but it looks fine now. What sucks is that there's no anti-gravity sections. :/ Oh well. Still a nice track nonetheless, although I'm not a huge fan of Excitebike.

    Anyways, pretty simple but it looks fun, something not where someone gets in the lead and dominated the entire race.

    Update, Nintendo of Japan's website just confirmed Excitebike Arema will be in the Egg Cup.
    Now, retro and new track in the same cup...
    I really hope the Triforce Cup isn't all Zelda, courses now.
    Because it looks like Yoshi Circuit, Excitebike Arena will be joined by Wario's Gold Mine and F-Zero...

    ^ You know, you might be right, I can see them doing 4 new Zelda tracks for the Triforce Cup. I can understand you'd want a bit more variety in the games tracks are taken from, but at least it's Zelda, there are so many places in the series they can make tracks from, so if they are all Zelda tracks, I do think we are in for some fantastic tracks.

    I guess we'll have to wait and see though.

    The DLC is pretty much confirmed by Nintendo to have online play as you can see in the ExciteBike trailer! Apparently, nobody really noticed this detail before. Razz At the very beginning of the ExciteBike Arena trailer, you can see in very small text at the bottom of that blue box that it says "Broadband internet access is required for online play," something only ever shown in games that include online. If the DLC couldn't be played online, it of course wouldn't say this.

    I'm very glad that the DLC can be played online, otherwise I would be extremely disappointed. Although, I am curious as to how they'll deal with people who haven't bought the DLC...

    I'm surprised they didn't go for an "available immediately after this presentation" with the DLC, but regardless it's nice we're getting it next Thursday. And the F-Zero and Zelda tracks look phenomenal! Can't wait to play this!
