    Yeah, that's right. Tetris is getting a full length film...

    It’s a very big, epic sci-fi movie. This isn’t a movie with a bunch of lines running around the page. We’re not giving feet to the geometric shapes. Brands are the new stars of Hollywood. We have a story behind ‘Tetris’ which makes it a much more imaginative thing. What you [will] see in ‘Tetris’ is the teeny tip of an iceberg that has intergalactic significance.

    Face Palm!

    How do you make a movie out of Tetris of all things? This is going to completely fail.

    It'd succeed if it's an animated movie with different shaped characters is my opinion. Or it could be a story about how the game was made; so it all depends on how the director wants to take it. :3

    Yeah, that's exactly what I would think, but the fact that he says it's a sci-fi movie pretty much confirms it isn't the story of how the game was made and came to be. (or a history of the series) Seems like something completely different, maybe even unrelated to Tetris...
