Are there any consoles you've purchased on launch day?

I bought my Nintendo 3DS launch day, and honestly, I'm glad I did despite there being a lack of games I wanted for a few months, and the huge price drop, as those ambassador games are great, and I missed out on a lot of them due to not having many physical GBA games, or an NES.

Otherwise I haven't gotten any on launch day. The longest I've waited though was the Xbox 360, which I got a couple years after release. (and then it still ended up breaking only a week after that XD)

Nope, I haven't got a single one on launch day, lol. They're usually too expensive for me (especially since I pay for all of my games myself, and I rarely ever get any money).

Yep, I've so far have bought only the Wii at launch. I've gotten my other consoles a few years, after they've gone down in price, when the system has gone on sale, or when I needed the next gen system to play a game only playable on said system.
