    Iwata: "Wii U is Not Over Yet" Empty Iwata: "Wii U is Not Over Yet"

    Despite only managing mediocre sales of 9.2 million units since it's launch, Iwata says Wii U is not over yet, and that multiple unannounced titles are in the works.

    Wii U is not over yet. I want to continue to build on playing on people’s high expectations [for the system]

    Well I'm certainly glad about that, I don't want Wii U going the way of the SEGA Dreamcast. Razz Hopefully one of those unannounced titles is Metroid, and maybe a new IP. And hopefully there's more than just 4 or 5 so that 2016 doesn't have a lack of new Wii U titles.

    Let's just say that I'm a bit skeptical about that statement. I'll believe it when Nintendo delivers shall we say. Cause atmo I'm playing on a PS1 game when I should be playing a new Wii U title.

    Nothing new since Miyamoto said that in a interview a while ago. My hopes for the games are Paper Mario, Metroid, a regular Kirby game and an amiibo game.

    ^amiibo game?
    That would be awful in my opinion...

    Either way, it's Nintendo.
    They won't give up.
    Really want to see Paper Mario, 1 or 2 more Mario Party games, another Pikmin game and a regular Kirby game myself on the Wii U.

    ^ Please no more Mario Party games, the new one looks bad enough. And an Amiibo game could be really good if some inspiration is taken from Skylanders/Disney Infinity.

    Personally, I'd most like to see Metroid (as does everyone else who owns a Wii U, let's be honest, Nintendo knows it too Razz) Paper Mario, Golden Sun, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing of course, and maybe another new IP. A new regular Kirby game would be nice, but we did just get Triple Deluxe. (which is pretty much regular Kirby) I don't doubt we'll also see another minigame collection type game.

    Eh it could work easily if done well, if the sole purpose is to tell people to buy more and more then it'd be a disappointment, but if it had a good gameplay style and the amiibo are reallly just the character you play as then it could be fine.

    @Zero "Bad enough"?
    Mario Party 10 looks really well done.
    Mario Party games sell well, and considering the GameCube got 4 of them, who says we can't get 2 or 3 on the Wii U?

    ^ I'm not saying they don't sell well, of course they do. But they don't need to release a ton of games in the series on Wii U. You gave the example of them releasing like 4 games on the GameCube, and that's when the series started getting terrible. Of course that's just my opinion though, I'm happy if you enjoy the game, at least it's not pointless for those who do, but it really doesn't look that fun to me...

    Anyway, Metroid. Razz XD
