Dress Color

So quite a few people were arguing over this in my rehearsal today, apparently it's all over the internet. What colors are this dress?



Some people say blue and black, some say white and gold. I think it's just obvious that it's blue and black, but I also don't get why it's such a big deal on the internet.

From what I've heard on the local news circuit: it's actually royal blue & black. But what I see is light blue & gold. So there ya go. xp

It looks like it's black, blue and gold if you ask me. The things people make a big deal out of though.

What I see is Gold and a very light blue. I saw white for a little bit but now it looks light blue. I'm probably wrong but that's what I see. I don't understand why it's a big deal on the internet.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees gold and light blue!

I can see how you'd get white from the 'blue', but not black from the 'gold'.

Strange, because I can see how you'd get gold from the black, but not white from the blue. (being that I see black and blue) I guess it's just the different perceptions of the colors with the lighting.
