Do you ever read common words incorrectly?

Do you ever read common words incorrectly? I actually do it quite a bit, just today I read 'both' with a short O sound. It makes me feel like a complete idiot when I do it, but it's only for a couple seconds before I realize it's an obvious word that I know.

Yea, I've misread words before; like yesterday I misread the word 'moon' as 'mom'. XD I have no idea why it happens but it happens at odd times for me too.

I read 'read' the wrong way.  haha that sentence can read incorrectly if you read it long enough.

^ Gah, any way you read that sentence it's grammatically correct, but I want to know which way you're supposed to read it. :p

And I know don't do this but a lot of people pronounce 'Fillet' with a hard 't' at the end and it really annoys me.

I've read; 'red' as 'read' before & vice-versa sometimes. It's so'weird.

All the time. "Homemade Dishes" --> "Homicide Dishes" being a recent example  .
